The WALES Coast Path

Forming part of the wider Wales Coast Path, the Gower Coast Path runs right past our front door, taking in striking headland, award-winning beaches, peaceful woodland – and much more. 

Pick up a Gower Coast Path map from our Reception, or click the button below to view it online. Alternatively, look out for the white dragon-shell logo, which acts as a waymarker for the route.

Back in April 2020, ITV Wales broadcast a six-episode programme called Wonders of the Coast Path, hosted by Sean Fletcher (Good Morning Britain, Countryfile), which explored the fascinating history and wildlife along the 870 mile (1,400 km) Wales Coast Path.

Sculpture Trail

In 2018, a series of 5 sculptures, commissioned by Visit Wales and created by Art and Education by the Sea, were constructed next to specific beaches along Gower’s coastline. 

The beautiful sculptures can be enjoyed individually or through a special sculpture trail, which runs from Mumbles and Rhossili. This trail map also includes a quiz, allowing you to interact with the sculptures in a fun way and revealing the secrets behind the artwork.
