Dog-friendly

The beach allows dogs 365 days of the year. Please respect the beach and other visitors by keeping an eye on your dog at all times, and bagging and binning any mess they make.

Lifeguard

Oxwich Bay is not a lifeguarded beach so please take care and be alert when in the water. For tide times, we recommend www.tideschart.com.

Toilets

Public toilets can be found at the western end of the beach, beneath the trees.

Water Sports

Oxwich Bay is suitable for a host of watersports activities, including surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, sea kayaking, kite-surfing and more.

Gower Activity Centres offer a variety of experiences – from stand-up paddleboarding to sea kayaking – many of which can be run from Oxwich Bay beach. They also run a number of on-land activities across Gower as well.
