The hotel is located at the western end of Oxwich Bay in Britain's first designated area of outstanding natural beauty. The Gower peninsula offers great scope for studying the flora, fauna, geology and geography of areas such as rocky shores, sandy beaches, dune systems, limestone cliffs, salt marshes, mixed woodland, streams and open moorland. Sites of historic and scientific interest include iron age forts, Norman castles, prehistoric burial sites and chambers, bone caves, water mills, churches, nature reserves…..the list is endless!
